COURSE DESCRIPTION:
SWAYAM stands for Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring
Minds is an
Indian Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platform. SWAYAM is an initiative
launched by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India
under Digital India to give a coordinated stage and free entry to web courses,
covering all advanced education, High School and skill sector courses. As we
realised from this COVID 19 pandemic situation and initiatives of Govt. of
India for Online Education, there will be more need based courses required in
SWAYAM as well as for different institutional platform to provide better
learning opportunities for youths. Hence, the teacher/course developers need to
